Funeral services for Calvin Meinecke, 86, of Jamaica, will be 10 a.m.  Thursday, Oct. 16 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Jamaica. Visitation is at Hastings after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, with family present from 5-7 p.m. Memorials in Calvin’s memory for later designation may be left at the funeral home.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons Steve of Perry, Mark of Grimes and J.C. of Windsor Heights; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and sister, Pauline “Polly” Shaw of Dallas, Texas.
