As you’ve probably heard by now, the Raccoon River Conference meet that was scheduled for Monday night in Bondurant was postponed until Thursday because of the wet conditions. That could come as a blessing for ADM’s runners, however.

The Tigers would have run in their third race in seven days had the weather held up for Monday’s conference meet. Instead, ADM gets a week to prepare for one of the most crucial races of the season. Thursday’s rescheduled meet also marks the final race of the year for junior varsity runners.

After Thursday, ADM has just two races left: the state qualifying meet on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Perry Country Club, and later in the month, the state meet.
