pathlesspedaledA pair of bicycle tourism experts are in town this week to talk to community leaders in trail towns about how to best use these amenities to their advantage.

Laura Crawford and Russ Roca of The Path Less Pedaled talk to groups from across the country and aim to inspire bicycle travel through storytelling.

They will be giving a presentation on Bicycle Tourism and Small Towns tomorrow from 3-4pm at the Hotel Pattee.  It’s sponsored by the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association, the City of Perry, Perry Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hotel Pattee.

Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber invites everyone to come participate.

“This is a cool opportunity, take advantage of it now, these guys are not coming through very often.  They’ve been all over social media already spreading the word about Perry and all these great things are really blowing their mind about a little rural community in Iowa and what we can do to make ourselves bicycle friendly.  It should be a great time” says Wilson.

Light refreshments will be served and the presentation will include a question and answer session.
