Everyone is invited to the next Bell Tower Festival planning meeting tonight.

Next year’s theme was decided at the initial meeting on October 13th of a circus-related theme .

Greene County Chamber Events Committee Chair Toni Linberg says they welcome all kinds of ideas or activities that people would like to see at next June’s festival.  Groups and organizations that want to host an activity during the festival are also invited to come to tonight’s meeting.

Other topics the group will discuss are electing an overall festival chairperson who is suppose to be an overseer of smaller committees along with community involvement and volunteerism, sponsorships, vendor booths, school reunions and other chairs for different activities and events.

Linberg explains that by having different committee chairs it allows for more community involvement and ownership for the festival instead of one person running everything for the two-day event.

The meeting is at 5:30pm tonight at Jefferson City Hall.
