The Panorama Panthers defeated Eddyville Blakesburg Fremont Wednesday night 42-18 in the first round of the Class 1A football playoffs.  The Panthers never trailed as they jumped out to a 20-0 first quarter lead and led 20-12 at halftime.  Special teams were critical in the second half as Gabe Richey returned a punt 59 yards for a touchdown while Luke Webner took a kick 99 yards for another score.  Richey also added a 98 yard touchdown gallup.  Trent Sloss scored on a pair of touchdown runs in the first quarter while quarterback Gavin Richey snuck in from a yard out.  Webner finished with 2 interceptions as well as the Panthers forced 3 turnovers on the night.

Panorama improves to 7-3 and will travel to Iowa City Regina Monday night.
