Things are quiet on the athletic fields of Guthrie Center High School right now, but Athletic Director Shane Arp says that will only last another few days, because girl’s basketball practice begins on Monday, and boy’s basketball practice begins a week later on the 17th. Arp says a lot of the students are involved with the school musical right now, Annie, that finishes up right before both boy’s seasons start. The Tigers of Guthrie Center are still weeks away from seeing competition again, though. The basketball season starts up with the girls hosting Audubon on November 24th, and the boys don’t play for nearly a month from now, beginning their season on December 5th, hosting Ogden.
