The Greene County High School National Honor Society will be hosting a couple of fundraising events later this month.
Tonight, NHS member will be serving a baked potato bar dinner at the high school cafeteria prior to the high school’s fall musical, “The Music Man”. Advisor Ruth Broman says they will have baked potatoes with various toppings along with beverages and desserts for $6 for anyone ages six and older. Those five and under will eat for free. The meal will be served from 5-7pm with the performance to begin at 7:30pm. It is open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door.
NHS members will also host a middle school dance at the Webb House on Friday, November 14th.
Broman notes that all sixth through eighth grade students are invited for an evening of dancing and musical entertainment. Admission is $3 per student with all proceeds to be donated to Lots of Socks that provides new socks and undergarments for less fortunate children. It will be from 8-10:30pm.
