The holiday season starts in just a few weeks, and it all kicks off with another Perry tradition on Friday, November 28th.
Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson says the annual Lighted Christmas Parade always happens downtown on Black Friday.
“So the day after your turkey, come on out at 7pm down 2nd Street like year’s past. Get your floats, get your cars, get everything all lit up, get involved. If you’re a business, or you’re a group, or heck even if you’re just a family, everyone is involved. Please have a theme that’s kind of towards the holidays, which isn’t hard to do. It’s a good night. The Hotel Pattee is a big part of that, as well as we will do the lighting of the community Christmas tree. It’s just a fun time to get downtown and remember all of these great amenities we have, again in another setting” says Wilson.
Anyone who has questions or would like to participate can stop by or call the Chamber at 465-4601.
