One person was injured in a single vehicle accident east of Perry Monday.

First responders from the Perry Police Department, Perry Fire and Rescue, Dallas County EMS, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol responded to the crash off Highway 141, just east of Willis Avenue shortly before 10:30am Monday.

A Ford Windstar minivan lost control in the westbound lanes of the highway and went into the north ditch, rolling the vehicle, which came to rest on its top.  The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was the only person in the van and was treated for injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

The crash remains under investigation and the cause is not known at this time.
