Funeral services for Kathleen McCabe Britten, 82, of rural Creston will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21. at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery of Nevinville. A luncheon will follow the burial at the church. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield, while family will be present from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the St. John’s Catholic Church or to the Stuart Community Care Center.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Linda Abbott of Knoxville, Stephen Britten of Mission, Texas, Brian Britten of Creston, Kevin Britten of Red Oak and Dan Britten of Orient; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Anne Kane of Longford, Ireland; two brothers, Brian McCabe of Bronx, NY and John McCabe of Bergenfield, New Jersey.
