Numerous 4-H’ers in the Raccoon River Valley received Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for their community service work during the past year. Seventeen honorees of Adair County 4-H are due to receive a certificate signed by President Obama and a specially designed pin. Union State Bank of Greenfield/Bridgewater sponsors the local program.

Gold award recipients were Hank Bohling, Dakota Hughes, Terrin Gettler, Skyler Rawlings, and

Jennifer Holliday, Greenfield; McKenna Davenport and Paige Caltrider, Adair; and Ashlyn Kralik,

Orient.

Silver honorees were Riley Lonsdale, Greenfield; Hannah Jorgensen and Shelby Soper, Adair; and

Halee Wallace, Creston.

Bronze awards were presented to: Joey Huntington, Orient; Heath Downing, Creston; and Logan

Stevens, Storm Hoadley, and Zayden Rawlings, Greenfield.
