The 4th Annual Gobble Gobble 5K Race will be held in Paton tomorrow morning.

Organizer Kim Cunningham says registration will begin at 8am and the race will start at 8:30am.  She points out that the admission charge to be apart of the race is three non-perishable items to be donated to the Greene County Action Resource Center in Jefferson.

Last year, they had 105 participants and donated over 600 items and $300 to the county’s food pantry.

Cunningham notes that this is a fun and family-friendly way to be healthy on a holiday and that people enjoy spending time together being active.

There will be home-made pumpkin pies as the prizes for the top female and male runners along with one winner selected who comes closest to their predicted finishing time.

The race will start at the Loren Shriver Community Building in Paton.
