Several offices and businesses in Greene County will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday this week.

The Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Chamber, Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Community Center, Greene County Extension, the Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office will all be closed on Thursday.

Jefferson residents are reminded that due to tomorrow’s holiday, Thursday’s garbage routes will be picked up today.  Jefferson Library staff reminds everyone that they will be closing at 6pm today and nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.

The courthouse, City Hall, Chamber office and the Extension office will all remain closed on Friday.
