Guthrie and Adair County’s Emergency Management Coordinator Bob Kempf has these tips on having a safe Thanksgiving, “Making sure you stay in the kitchen while food is cooking, so you can keep an eye on it, making sure kids stay away from cooking food, keeping matches and utility lighters away from children, and making sure your smoke alarms are working before you start cooking.”
