The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will consider for approval the third and final reading for the Local Option Sales and Services Tax for Dana, Grand Junction, Jefferson, Paton, Rippey and the rural parts of the county.
The County Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 9am for a request by New Cooperative to reclassify a partial of land in the Franklin Township from agricultural to industrial. The Supervisors will then consider approving the zoning commission’s recommendation and New Cooperative’s request to install three, 30,000-gallon anhydrous ammonia storage tanks at that site.
Plus, there will be the weed commissioner’s report and chief executive officer of Genesis Development, Terry Johnson will give an update.
The meeting will be at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
