The Stuart Fire Department recently received a $500 award from Mid-American Energy as part of their initiative to better communities all around Iowa. Deanna Harwood is Mid American’s representative for Stuart and believes the money will benefit the majority of the town in general. The Stuart Fire Department says they plan to use the money for fire gloves.
