Funeral Mass for Bob Whitver, 90, of Jefferson, will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jefferson, with interment  at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Jefferson.  Visitation will be after 11:00 am Friday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, where family will be present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. A vigil service will follow at 7 p.m.  Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at the funeral home.

Bob is survived by his sons, Tom Whitver  and Dick Whitver of Jefferson, Gary Whitver of Gettysburg, PA, Ed Whitver of Grimes and Brian Whitver of LeMars;  daughter Sue Weiss of Mount Pleasant; brother Loren “Buck” Whitver of West Union; 15 grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
