Traditional extracurricular school activities include things like choir, chess club, yearbook and band. West Central Valley now has a LEGO Club; and they build robots using, you guessed it, LEGO blocks. The group recently traveled to Council Bluffs for a competition where they built an autonomous robot using a LEGO kit, and completed numerous challenges relating to the theme crime scene investigation. After the competition was finished, the West Central Valley team was given the Team Spirit Award.
