The Iowa State Patrol reports that a Casey woman had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance after a two vehicle crash took place on I80 at about 6:30 this morning, near Casey. The crash report indicates that a 2006 Chevy pickup being driven by 41 year old Michael Reha, of Adair was traveling eastbound on the interstate when for an unknown reason he rear-ended a 2012 Ford Escape being driven by 54 year old Marilyn Harden, of Casey, forcing her vehicle into the median at approximately 50 miles per hour. Harden was transported by Adair County Rescue to the Adair County Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. We’ll have more information for you as it becomes official.
