The 8-1 Panorama boys varsity basketball team is the 15th best team in Class 2-A according to the latest BC Moore power rankings. The Panther boys have lost just once, but the rankings say they have the 75th hardest schedule out of the 97 Class 2-A teams, so clawing their way up the rankings further could prove to be more difficult than for teams which play a perceived tougher schedule. The 2-7 West Central Valley varsity boys are ranked 86th out of  97 Class 2-A teams, and the 1-8 Guthrie Center boys are ranked 118th out of 155 teams in Class 1-A.
