Funeral services for Merle Leroy Bassett, 85, of Casey, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 12 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Casey, where a gathering of friends and family will be held prior to the services at 9:30 a.m. There will also be visitation from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, January 11 at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will be in the Dalmanutha Cemetery of rural Guthrie County.
