Between the beautiful rolling hills, nearby and pristine Springbrook State Park and a quaint small-town main street that is currently undergoing an impressive facelift, many around Guthrie Center believe there’s plenty in the form of potential tourism attraction in providing another economic boost, but Main Street Guthrie Center’s Julie Bailey doesn’t believe that much is being done to exercise the potential of the city as a destination, “nobody is really doing much for tourism in Guthrie Center. And so we need to talk about that some more.”
