Funeral services for Matthew Murrane, 75, of Bayard, will take place 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at the St. Patrick’s Church in Bayard, with burial in Willow Township Cemetery. The Ohde Funeral Home in Bayard is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, and a vigil service will follow at 7. Visitation will then resume at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Charlene Murrane of Bayard; son, Tim Murrane of Coon Rapids; daughter, Carolyn Wagner of Audobon, six grandchildren; sisters, Marie Murrane of Carroll, Margaret Murrane of Arizona and Madonna Wilson of Branson, MO; and sister-in-law, Patty Murrane of Des Moines.
