The Panorama Panthers varsity girls basketball team have solidified the notion that they are the team to beat in the West Central Conference, after beating now second place Des Moines Christian twice this season, both times by a single point. Speaking hours before their 55 to 54 win over Des Moines Christian last night, Panorama girl’s head varsity coach Dan Druivenga was confidently prophetic in his prediction of the game, “I don’t think there will be any problem with Des Moines Christian, and the girls getting up.”
The Panorama girls now prepare to head to head to Stuart on Friday night to face a West Central Valley girls team who lost 39 to 52 to Woodward Granger last night.
