The ADM Tigers kept on rolling over the weekend, hosting the Tiger Invitational on Saturday. It was a particularly good day for ADM’s ranked wrestlers, who finished 10-0, and all captured the tournament championship at their respective weights.
In the 138-pound group, No. 4-ranked and senior Trevor Harsh rammed through his bracket by going 4-0. Junior Hunter Gibson, the No. 10 wrestler at 195 pounds, had a first-round bye and went 3-0 to capture his title. Also receiving a bye was junior Nathan Heath, who went 3-0 to capture the 285-pound title. He’s ranked ninth in Class 2A.
Junior Zach Johnston, ranked third among 160-pounders, did not compete over the weekend.
ADM is back on the mat this Thursday, when they’ll travel to Carroll for a conference tri-meet with the other Tigers and Bondurant-Farrar. It also represents a chance for ADM to get a sneak preview of where they’ll compete for the Raccoon River Conference meet on Saturday, January 31.
