An audit for Stuart’s West Central Valley School District has been released by Hogan-Hansen, an Iowa-based accounting firm. The audit shows that revenue for the 2013/14 school year dropped nearly three-percent from the previous year to just thirteen million dollars; more than half of which came from local taxes. Expenses were up one-percent from the previous year, to over
eleven million dollars, the biggest cost was $4.5 million for regular instruction. A copy of the audit report is available for public review inside of the West Central Valley District secretary’s office.
