The final night of  five straight girl/boy basketball doubleheaders on the road for the Greene County Rams takes place in Alleman tonight as the Rams face North Polk. The NP girls and Greene Co. boys won in December in Jefferson in the first meeting. Coach Chad Morton’s girls are 7-10 overall and 7-8 in the conference while Jeramie Hinote’s boys are 6-10 overall and 6-8 in league play. Both NP teams are also below the .500 mark. Coverage on KG98 begins at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.

After tonight, the Rams will be at home for the first time since Jan. 20 when they host Saydel (Des Moines) on Friday, Feb. 6 in the middle school gym in Jefferson.
