Mitchell Simonson of Van Meter was traveling south on Ute Ave when he tried to pass a vehicle in front of him, driven by Albin Mehmedovic of West Des Moines, and lost control of his vehicle side swiping Mehmedovic’s vehicle.  No injuries reported.  Damage to each vehicle estimated at $1500.00.

David Agey of West Des Moines was traveling on Booneville Rd when he lost control coming around the corner. The vehicle began to slide and struck a brick pillar on property owned by Gordon Martens.  No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $3000.00 and $500.00 to the brick pillar.
