The West Central Valley athletic department is seeking many volunteers to help out during track season. District Activity Director Tod Broman says volunteers will do things such as monitor field events, be relay exchange zone judges, hold starting blocks and help set up and tear down track meets. Additionally, Broman says they’re looking for several people to run the district’s new high-tech track timing system. “The training takes about three hours, it will be all indoors. Later on this spring, we will move out to the track, and do some more training, and possibly have a practice track meet so we can learn how this all works.”
