The West Central Valley boys varsity basketball team grabbed a convincing 70-58 victory against Southwest Valley last night in the first round of the Class 2A district playoffs at I35 High School in Truro. The Wildcats will be back to Truro for round 2 Thursday night, when they will face conference rival Panorama. Panorama beat West Central Valley by 22 and 25 points, respectively, in their two games during the regular season. West Central Valley has been led in scoring this year by senior Bryce Kearns who is averaging over 13 points per game. Tip off for the round two game against Panorama is scheduled for 6:30 pm, Thursday night, at I-35 High School in Truro.
