Funeral services for James Verle Bennett, 94, of Jefferson will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson. Open visitation will be Thursday from 1 until 5 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home, and with the family one hour prior to the service Friday.  Verle is survived by:   3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law Nick Friess of Ohio.
