Each year during the legislative session, our local lawmakers hold public events to get feedback from their constituents.
So far, State Representative Ralph Watts says residents in District 19 don’t have too many concerns.
“Actually we haven’t found too many issues, people must be fairly satisfied with what we’re doing. We’ve had one in Adel so far and the people that showed up seem to be pretty happy.”
Watts says he has had constituents mention they want to see a puppy mill bill passed this session but he doesn’t see that getting very far.
The next town hall event is scheduled for Saturday March 7th beginning at 9am at the Redfield Legion Hall, followed by an 11am discussion at the Adel Public Library.
