Ending his high school basketball career with an incredible total of 637 total rebounds in three years as a varsity starter, Bryce Kearns now holds the record for most rebounds in a game, a season and a career at West Central Valley High School. In each of the past three seasons, Kearns has led West Central Valley in both rebounds and scoring. Kearns averaged a double-double in the 2012/13 season as a sophomore, with 14 points per game, and nearly 11 rebounds per game. Though a feared player in conference, Kearns never had the opportunity to play on a winning team. The closest they came was his sophomore year when they finished with a 10-13 record. The West Central Valley Wildcats ended their season with a second round playoff loss to cross-county conference foe Panorama, after beating Southwest Valley in the first round.
