A Jefferson woman pleads guilty and will receive sentencing in April.

According to court documents, 22 year-old Hayley Brown pled guilty to Class D Felonies for third degree burglary and two counts of forgery.  The State has agreed to drop all other charges in the case.

Charges stem from when the accused stole checks and credit cards from another residence and used them at several locations ranging from Carroll to West Des Moines from July 30th through August 13th of 2014.

She will have her sentence hearing on April 6th.  Brown is also ordered to pay restitution to Discover Financial Services for $4,667.99, Farmers State Bank in Yale for $772.20 and Check Into Cash in Ames for $354.14.  She is also scheduled to have a disposition hearing today for her probation violation from an unrelated case.
