According to the American Red Cross, one pint of donated blood can save as many as three lives. At a recent blood drive, students at West Central Valley High School donated twenty-three pints of blood, meaning they may have saved nearly 70 lives. The drive was the first time donating blood for many of the students, including senior Mason Miller. Members of West Central Valley’s student government were on hand providing cookies and juice to those who had donated.
