For the sixth time in ten years, the Nodaway Valley boys basketball team is advancing to the State Tournament. The Wolverines beat Fremont-Mills, Tabor in a close 50 to 45 Substate game on Saturday night for the right to play in downtown Des Moines next week. Junior Jackson Lamb had 28 points for Nodaway Valley in the contest. The 19-6 Nodaway Valley Wolverines will meet undefeated, 24-0 Gladbrook-Reinbeck in round 1 of the State Tournament a week from today at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
