The Panorama boys basketball had a 36 to 25 lead after the third quarter in their Substate game against Woodward Academy on Saturday night. Eight minutes of play later, and Woodward Academy Knights had scored 21 additional points. The Panorama Panthers had scored zero. Woodward Academy advances to the Class 2A State Tournament for the first time in school history with a 46 to 36 win over Panorama.

Panorama Head Coach Brad Halterman gives Woodward Academy all of the credit for the massive fourth quarter change of momentum. “Woodward Academy stepped it up. We had some turnovers that hurt us down the stretch, but all the credit goes to Woodward Academy.”

Preston Brittain, a transfer from West Central Valley High School led Woodward Academy in scoring with 14 points. Luke Webner and Gavin Richey had 10 a piece for Panorama.
