Paton-Churdan high school basketball players senior Jake Carey and junior Noah Juergensen were named to the Rolling Valley Activities Conference first all-conference team. Three others from P-C were on the honorable mention list; seniors Colton Fitzpatrick and Dylan Burgart, and freshman Joe Towers. The Rockets were 20-4 overall and placed second in the league to conference champion Ar-We-Va (Westside).
Carey averaged 19.3 points in conference games while Juergensen scored at 18.3 per game in the conference. Carey made 53% of his field goals in the 20 league games and he sank 35% of three-point attempts. He was a 77.5% free throw shooter and Carey averaged four assists, 3.65 steals and 4.5 rebounds in league play. Juergensen made 61.4% of conference field goal attempts and he was a 62.1% free throw shooter. Juergensen also averaged 9.8 rebounds per conference game and averaged just over two blocked shots per game.
Fitzpatrick scored nine points per game and was a 40% shooter from three-point range. He averaged 3.35assists, three rebounds, and a little over two steals per game. Burgart scored 7.8 points per contest and made almost 58% of his shots from the field. He also averaged 5.25 rebounds. Towers averaged 5.6 points as a ninth grader and made nearly two-thirds of his free throw attempts.
