Guthrie Center girls golf coach Ashley Wendl has just begun her first season at the helm. Wendl, was a high school golfer herself says she was drawn to the sport because it provides a lifetime of recreation. “It’s something that we felt was a lifelong skill and would be fun to get these girls into and teach them about. You can golf forever, really.”
