The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider two resolutions for construction projects.  The Council is expected to award a contract for the 2015 Grimmell Road Lift Station Access Improvement project following a public hearing and awarding another contract for the 2015 Sanitary Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation project.  The Council will also consider a resolution to establish stop signs at the intersections next to Hy-Vee and consider the first reading to amend an ordinance for designated “no parking” zones around Hy-Vee’s property.

Other agenda items for the Council to consider approving include renewal of its garden leases at 607 West Lincoln Way and 709 West Lincoln Way and purchasing a mower for the Jefferson Community Golf Course.

The Council will hear a report from Alliant Energy’s Annette Renauld and the meeting will end with the City Administration’s yearly evaluation.

The meeting will be a 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
