Graveside services for Phyllis Piper, 83, of State Center, formerly of Des Moines and Greenfield, will be Saturday at 1 pm at the Greenfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.  Online condolences may be left for the family at steenfunerals.com.  Survivors include:  Children, Nickala Nelson of State Center, Tamara Lasley of Dallas, Texas, and Richard Piper of Greenfield.  2 grandchildren.  2 great grandchildren.
