The ADM girls track team won the Hugh Norman Coed relays Tuesday night at ADM Stadium, taking advantage of a watered-down field of teams. The Tigers bested Carlisle, Clarke, Van Meter and Winterset.

There were a number of first and second place finishes for the Tigers. Winners included Erica Baier in the discus, Briana Mueller in the 3,000m run, Kari Dufoe in the 100m and 200m dashes, Jenny Wicks in the 400m, Maggi Bjustrom in the 100m hurdles, as well as the Tigers’ 4 x 100, 4 x 200, 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relay teams.

Second-place finishes came from a pair of freshmen, Ellie Mueller in the 800m and Jillian Hofmann in the 3,000m, as well as sophomore Sydney Bertman in the long jump.

After a day of recovery, the Tigers get right back at it with a meet Thursday at Waukee. Varsity events begin at 4:30 p.m.
