Those looking to participate in this year’s Perry summer swim team need to meet at the McCreary Community Building Saturday.
Registration and suit fitting for the 2015 season takes place from noon to 2pm.
Swimmers between the ages of 6 and 18, who are capable of swimming the length of the pool unassisted, are invited to participate in the competitive league. Perry competes in the Iowa West Swim Conference and meets take place Tuesday and Thursday nights. Swimmers practice weekday mornings at various times, depending on the child’s age group.
The cost to participate is $80 for the first swimmer in a family and $60 for an additional swimmer, if they register at the same time.
