April 13th through the 18th is recognized as National Library Week and the Perry Public Library is celebrating with several events.
This year’s theme is Unlimited Possibilities @ Your Library. It’s a national event sponsored by the American Library Association with the purpose of recognizing the impact libraries and librarians have on our communities.
This week, patrons who donate non-perishable grocery items to the Perry Food Pantry can have their outstanding fines waived as part of the Food for Fines Amnesty Program.
In addition there are special displays set up in the building and the Friends of the Perry Public Library are providing free cookies all week.
