The West Central Valley boys soccer lost their first two games of the season last year. After a rocky start, that team ended up qualifying for the state tournament. This year, coach Jon Boss’s goal was to have a better start to the season. With a 2-0 start, Boss says they’re on the right track. “I’m loving what has happened with the complete turnaround from last with losing those first two games, to winning them. I think it show our team’s character ‘never quit attitude’. It’s encouraging to know we can get these two games out of the way and be on the right track for the rest of the season.”

The West Central Valley boys play again on Thursday when they host Missouri Valley.
