The Chief Deputy Sheriff investigated a reported fight between inmates in the jail.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1100 block of Livingston Street in Churdan to investigate criminal mischief to a garage door window.

A deputy was not able to locate a possible intoxicated driver entering Greene County from Guthrie County on Highway 4.

A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Main Street in Scranton to help mediate a family concern.

A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Officers with a domestic family altercation in Jefferson.

A deputy assisted with the removal of a dog from the Dollar General Store in Jefferson while Police Officers were on another call. The Husky type dog was taken to the animal shelter in Jefferson.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of 170th Street for a reported car-deer accident. McCellan Siruta 27, of Jefferson, driving his 2000 Jeep Wrangler, was westbound on 170th Street when a deer ran onto the roadway and was struck by the Siruta vehicle. Siruta was not injured but his Jeep sustained an estimated $2500 in damages.

A deputy assisted with traffic control on Highway 30 near Q Avenue while a Jefferson Police Officer conducted field sobriety and the subsequent arrest of a female subject for OWI.

A deputy was advised that he was needed at a residence in the 200 block of Main Street in Rippey to investigate a possible Domestic Assault that had happened earlier in the day between family members. The assault is under investigation at this time pending the locating of both parties involved.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
