Everyone is invited to Paton-Churdan’s spring play this weekend.
Director Stephanie Pace says this year’s play is called “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. It is a comedy and a drama of a series of scenes taking place at the same time in the town of Almost. Pace states that the play is about relationships between ordinary people. Each scene has two people from the town that experience their own magical moment at 9pm in the middle of winter.
The cast includes Garion Consier, Bayllie Flinn, Robin Consier, Nohea Missweit and Dylan Burgart. Each student plays multiple roles which consists of a lot of prep work.
There will be two performances on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th at 7pm at the school’s auditorium in Churdan. Both shows will feature a meal served. Friday night’s meal will be a spaghetti supper served by the Paton-Churdan senior class and the eighth grade class will host a potato bar on Saturday.
Tickets are $5 for either the show or the meal and $8 for both. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the school’s main office or at the door.
