The Dallas County Library Association is preparing for their second annual Toddler Fest next month.
All twelve public libraries in the County, in conjunction with 4R Kids Early Childhood Iowa, are coming together to offer this free event on Saturday, May 2nd.
It takes place from 10am until 2pm at the Dallas County Fairgounds in Adel. The goal is to promote awareness of the literary resources that are available locally and provide activities for families of kids ages two to five.
Attendees will be able to hear stories, play games, make crafts, get their face painted and enjoy visits from the Science Center of Iowa and Blank Park Zoo.
No registration is needed to participate and each toddler will also be able to take home a free book.
