Both the ADM girls and boys golf teams enjoyed a successful day Thursday at their home course, River Valley Golf Course, as the ADM boys beat Dallas-Center Grimes, 154-166, and the girls defeated Ballard, 176-207.

The girls were lead by medalist Lexi Owen, who shot a 40, and runner-up Lindsey Lange at 42. The Tigers’ scorers were rounded out by Taylor Boorn with a 44 and Tania Teleford at 50.

On the boys side, Ben Sandquist metaled with a 36, and Brody Boston was right behind him at 37. Jacob Schumaker was next at 40, and Joe  Vest and Ethan Herron tied with a 41 to complete ADM’s scoring four.

The boys golf team has a quick turnaround with the Perry boys golf tournament at the Perry Golf and Country Club beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The girls team will host its second straight home meet Monday afternoon against Carroll.
