The Perry Police Department has confirmed the standoff situation Sunday evening has ended.

15th and 16th Streets were barricaded off between Summer Meadows and Willis Avenue for approximately four and a half hours Sunday when a lockdown started around 5pm.

The Police Department tells Raccoon Valley Radio no one was injured in the incident and the identity of the suspect has not been released at this time.

The Perry Fire Department, Iowa State Patrol and Dallas County EMS also assisted at the scene.

Raccoon Valley Radio will have more information as it becomes official.
